Labor Day 2010

Just found these pics on my in-laws' computer and I'm so happy. This was a fun time. Definitely post-worthy even if they are 3 months old :) We went to Grandma and Grandpa Bear's cabin for Labor Day weekend.

Taking a 3 month-old out on a boat ride in the blazin sun...bad idea.

Definitely have to have a stock of Diet Coke.

Grandpa Stowell dipping Kendra's feet in the water.

Ryder was trying to splash Grandma Stowell.

Taking a break from riding. Since we had a baby we were in the rhino.

Gotta love diaper changes on a quad. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Welp...looks like Ryder ditched the Diet Coke for Dr. Pepper.

And then crashed from his caffeine high.

Here's our lil' fam all strapped in the rhino. Kendra was in her car seat but I felt bad that her head was all over the place so I held her. She slept most of the time.

Halloween 2010

Here we are before our ward Halloween party. Jon is a lacrosse player, I'm a cowgirl, Ryder is Buzz Lightyear, and Kendra is a bunny :)
Simona sent Kendra this cute bunny hat from Romania before she came to America. Thanks to her I didn't need to buy Kendra a costume. I just made a bunny tail out of cotton balls and glued it to her pants HA!
Melissa and Reed decided to come along with us. Moe was a cheetah and Reed was a sock monkey. So cute! Jon held the babies while Ryder jumped around in the bouncer so Melissa and I could go through the haunted house, which was so scary. I never went through it last year because I was too chicken but Jon and Melissa convinced me to go this time. I held Melissa's hand and closed my eyes most of the time until the end when I screamed, let go of her hand, and bolted out of there as fast as I could. It was just the young men in our ward in there but they were SCARY!!! They kept touching us and grabbing our feet and hair and we almost fell down the stairs. Plus there was this super creepy baby doll that was freaking us out. I'll never go in there again lol. Happy Halloween everyone!

Funny Story

Sorry no pics and I already posted the short version of this story on my Facebook. But I wanted to document this on my blog as well for when I get another book printed. This happened last week but I'm still laughing about it today. Ryder woke up in the morning with a super full diaper (as usual) and I had forgotten to buy more diapers the day before. Luckily Jon didn't have to go into work until 10am so he took off Ryder's diaper and was able to stay with the kids while I ran to the nearest store. I told Jon to put a pair of underwear on him but Jon thougth that he would just poop or pee in them. He told me he needed to jump in the shower, which worried me, but I was in a hurry and didn't think much about it. When I got back not even 10 minutes later, our front door was cracked open. I panicked thinking Ryder got out of the house while Jon was in the shower, but when I walked in Jon was just standing there next to Ryder (who was butt naked) trying not to bust up laughing. He told me that Ryder went outside and then came back in saying he pooped. Jon checked his butt (which was poopy) but had no idea where the poop went. Jon cleaned him up and I slapped a diaper on him quick and asked him to show me where the poop was. He took me outside (yikes) and around the corner (double yikes) and just kept walking out towards the parking lot (this is where I started to cringe). He finally found "the spot" and said, "Look mom! I pooped!" He had walked to another building with no diaper on and dropped a log in our neighbors' rocks. There was even a little fly sitting on it. I was so mortified I just ran back and told Jon where he pooped and Jon started laughing. He asked if I was going to go clean it up and I told him I probably should but I was too disgusted. My child is a dog.

4 Months!

At 4 month Kendra is reading music and can play some simple songs on the piano. I know...child prodigy, right? HAHA! Just kidding, but aren't these pictures the cutest? I went to hang out with my sister Sonia yesterday because it was Saturday and and both our husbands were working so we decided it was play time. She got a new camera and wanted to try it out on a photoshoot with Kendra so we got to work and I just couldn't resist having her sit at the piano. I originally wanted to put her in my niece Ashton's violin case and have Kendra hold the violin but she was WAAAY to big for that case. I love that she is sitting all by herself like a big girl in these pics but she doesn't actually sit up alone yet. However, she is learning quickly from sitting in her bumbo throughout the day. At her 4 month check-up she weighed 14 lbs 15 oz and was in the 75th percentile for height and weight. She doesn't roll over yet and it's partially my fault because I don't give her enough tummy time. She's such a puker so it's hard to find the right time to let her play on her tummy without making a huge mess and having her smother herself in it. She's also very chunky so I think she has a hard time getting her weight around. She smiles and coos all the time...it's VERY easy to make her smile. She also laughs a lot and is very ticklish. I love to tickle her. Her Dr. said to wait until she was 5 months to start her on rice cereal but since Ryder started at 4 months I gave her some anyways, and she did really well with it! She seemed to like it. But then I thought about it...and the fact that she's super chunk...and decided to just wait til next month to start giving it to her daily. She drinks 5oz bottles 5 times/day and sleeps about 8-9 hours straight at night. She's a very good-natured, happy baby like Ryder was. And speaking of Ryder...she LOVES him. She gets the biggest grin every time she sees him and he loves to wake up and see her and give her lots of love. I can't wait until she's a little older and they can interact. He likes for her to watch cartoons with him and sometimes when I'm trying to get something done I'll lay her in my bed and he'll go lay down next to her and talk to her. She looks SOOO much like me, especially when she just wakes up I can't help but stare at her cuz it's like I'm looking at myself as a baby. I am very attached to her and LOVE having a girl.

Hey, Doll

Check out my chunkers!! Love her smile.
I was at my mom's this week and we were talking about how I haven't taken hardly ANY pics of Kendra and I used to take pics of Ryder daily when he was a baby. I can't find my camera at the moment. I found it after we moved and then I'm pretty sure Ryder took it to play with it because I had it sitting by the computer and he knew it was there and now it's gone. ANYWAYS, my mom decided to put Kendra in her SUPER CUTE little wing-back chair with all her dolls surrounding. Baby K kinda looks like a lil' doll herself!

BTW, Kendra turned 3 months old on Sunday. Can't believe it.

Down in the Dumps

Lately I have had a really difficult time finding joy and satisfaction in being Ryder's mother. I know many of you might think this sounds really mean but I'm just being honest. I think that people who constantly say they love EVERY second of motherhood...are lying. I'm just having a hard time with his age and the stage that he is at in his life right now. I just feel like I'm upset more than I'm happy and I want to rip my hair out and claw my eyes out on a daily basis. I must reaffirm that the terrible 2's...really are terrible. I've heard 3-year-olds are even harder and it depresses me to even think about it. A while back I was confessing to my friend, Sunny, about my feelings towards motherhood and my kids. I passed on a statistic that my mother had shared with me. It said that something like 75% of parents don't actually enjoy parenthood. I admitted to Sunny that I was definitely part of that 75%. I love my kids...but most days I just want to give up. BEING the amazing friend that she is, Sunny suggested I read a talk given by our Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, titled "Finding Joy in the Journey." I couldn't help but cry as I read it because of the guilt I felt. Compared to most 2-year-olds, I truly know deep down that Ryder is actually a really good kid. It is ME that is the problem. I seriously lack patience. Anyways, I just wanted to post a couple of quotes from the talk for anyone out there who might be feeling the same way that I have felt. DON'T GIVE UP! And don't take life and family (especially your children) for granted.

"This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now."

"there is no tomorrow to remember if we don’t do something today."

"If you have children who are grown and gone, in all likelihood you have occasionally felt pangs of loss and the recognition that you didn’t appreciate that time of life as much as you should have. Of course, there is no going back, but only forward. Rather than dwelling on the past, we should make the most of today, of the here and now, doing all we can to provide pleasant memories for the future."

"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly."

"Send that note to the friend you’ve been neglecting; give your child a hug; give your parents a hug; say “I love you” more; always express your thanks. Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved. Friends move away, children grow up, loved ones pass on. It’s so easy to take others for granted, until that day when they’re gone from our lives and we are left with feelings of “what if” and “if only.” Said author Harriet Beecher Stowe, “The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.”"

Thanks Sunny!

Twins?

I haven't really felt like Ryder and Kendra look much alike until I saw this pic Sonia took of Kendra the other day. I remembered I had one of Ryder making the same face from when he was 4 months old (he is the first pic incase you couldn't tell). It's not that they are making the same face...if you look close their eyes have the same shape...their noses look similar and they have the same lips and face shape. They both even have a widow's peak. This is just too deja vu for me.

Yep...I pierced my baby.

This picture again was taken by cell phone so it's not great quality but it's all I've got. On Thursday my sister Sonia and I took Kendra to get her ears pierced. I honestly hadn't even thought of it but Jon brought it up and wanted me to get it done and after talking to some of my peeps I decided I'd just do it. We took her to Claire's at San Tan mall and I made Sonia hold her because I felt too bad. I was trying to keep an eye on our boys and then I heard Kendra crying thinking it was over. When I walked back in the store Sonia said, "We haven't even started yet!" HA! Anyways, I picked little 3mm diamonds and they are SO CUTE! She looks even more girly and I love it. They don't even bother her, which is good. She likes to sleep on her tummy and I thought it would hurt her but she does just fine. I love my brave lil' girl.

Baby Friends Photoshoot

The other day we went to Melissa's house for lunch and Sunny came with her cute baby Tessa too. We ate some YUMMY subs and then decided to take some pictures of the kids together. Kendra and Reed are 3 days apart in age and oh so cute together. I just love Kendra's little furrowed brow and Reed's confused look. Priceless.
Of course Ryder had to jump in there too. He loves having his picture taken...in fact he demands it. He loves Reed. To him, any baby that isn't Kendra is automatically named Reed. HAHA!
When I pulled Kendra out of her car seat Sunny said, "Oh my gosh. Tessa is wearing that same onesie right now." Then she pulled Tessa out. It was pretty funny. We didn't plan it...I swear. It looks so much better on Tessa with her olive complexion. Kendra is white as a ghost like me.
Love these babies. I wish I could have all 3 of them. They are precious. Tessa is 6 weeks younger than Kendra and Reed but she will be keeping up with them when they are older I'm sure.

2 Months and 2.5 Years!

I can't find my cord to upload pics to my computer so this is from my phone. I'll find the cord eventually I hope once I finally get through all these boxes. I hate moving. ANYWAYS, I took the kids in to the Dr. last week and forgot to post about it. Kendra had her 2 month check and Ryder had his 2 year check...well he's 2 1/2 now. For some reason this new pediatrician I take the kids to doesn't give a paper to take home with your child's stats. So I'm having to do it all from memory and I only remember their weight and I have no clue what percentile they are in. Stinky.

Kendra: 12lbs 2oz

Ryder: 32lbs

Kendra is doing SO much better since I last took her in to the Dr. and had him diagnose her with "classic colic." I don't even think that's what was wrong with her, I think Dr.'s tell you whatever they want. 2 weeks after that appt. she completely changed into such a happy baby. I think I switched her formula around too much and her tummy was not liking it. She is a great little baby and we LOVE having her around. She has been smiling for a while now and I finally got a picture of it on my phone. She sleeps pretty well only waking up once a night and I am usually only up for 30 min. with her. Unfortunately she LOVES her swing and that is where she sleeps every night and for every nap. I know, I know it's a bad habit and I've decided to try and break it. She is laying on her back in bed as we speak and she is NOT liking it. She hates to be on her back, side, or tummy. She liked it in the beginning but now if I lay her down she won't stay asleep and won't even cry herself back to sleep. But I can't have her sleeping in her swing forever. Ryder was the same way at her age and I had to break him of it too. He LOVED his car seat. Kendra has been doing a lot of cooing and especially likes her daddy's voice. He can get her to talk more than I can. She does really well at holding her head up...I swear she was doing it at one week old. She's a strong lil' lady. When Ryder was a baby I couldn't wait for him to grow up and hit the next milestone. While I'm excited to see what Kendra does next, I feel like I want to keep her a baby forever. I'm really enjoying having a girl.

Ryder is getting so big and tall and is saying more and more funny things all the time. I talked to his Dr. about him having OCD tendencies and the Dr. said it's normal and to not pay attention to it or he'll keep doing the things he's doing. He can't walk out a door without closing it behind him and if he walks past a toy car or something that is on its side, he goes back and fixes it before continuing what he was doing. He likes to have things in order and likes to line things up perfectly like toys or DVD's. He also HATES being dirty. It's pretty funny. He is a silly little boy and loves to make people laugh. He is quite the dancer and loves to bust moves to any music that comes on. His favorite movies at the moment are Mary Poppins and 101 Dalmatians. Not the cartoon Dalmatians, the one with real people and dogs. He also loves this really goofy show on NickJr. called The Upside Down Show. I think it's pretty lame but he will laugh out loud at it and it cracks me up. He LOVES Kendra and always wants to take care of her and help me feed her. He is always very sweet and nice to her, which makes me happy. He loves blueberry waffles and sandwiches at the moment. Oh and sushi of course. We took him to a sushi restaurant last week and he ate an entire California hand roll to himself. I was impressed...and very proud. His favorite thing to say right now is, "Hey! How are you doing? Are you good? Oh!" All together like it's one sentence. He'll say it to trees, animals, etc. It's hilarious. He also likes to sing along to the radio now. He can sing along to "Heartbreaker" by Taio Cruz and "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon. HAHA!

Kendra's Blessing Day

Jon blessed Kendra at church on August 1st. It has taken me forever to post this because we moved and haven't had internet for over a week, which has been very hard for me might I add. I can't believe how long it's been since I last posted. AH! Anyways, it was a great and stressful day. After the blessing my family got together at my parents' house but Jon and I had to stay at church and do our duties so they took our kids for us and then we started moving into our new place that afternoon. It was crazy. We are almost completely settled in our new place and we like it, except for the 2 scorpions we found. I wish I could remember the blessing that Jon gave Kendra but I was so distracted by the fact that he left out her middle name (twice) that I couldn't concentrate the rest of the time. He was really nervous, poor guy. He did great though. My mom bought her the most gorgeous blessing dress. You can tell in the picture it is very long, which I love. I'm sad she only got to wear it once. It's like a prom or wedding dress! HA! I gave it back to my mom since she spent quite a bit o' money on it so that it can be given to other granddaughters to use. I just wish I could've gotten a better picture of Kendra but my camera was packed away. Oh well.

Life since the new baby

FINALLY Ryder ate a bowl of cereal all by himself. I started working on this a couple of months before Kendra was born because I knew I'd be feeding her a LOT and couldn't feed him at the same time. Since all he EVER wants for breakfast now is cereal (used to be yogurt) I wanted him to learn to eat it himself. We also buzzed his head. I swear his long hair was making him more hot in this weather.
I found some incriminating photos on my camera. The little stinker stole my camera and ran upstairs to our bedroom, got up on our bed, and took pics of his feet. HA!
Ryder LOVES to hold Kendra...and kiss her repeatedly...and hug her...a lot. I'm just glad he hasn't tried to pick her up. I know, I know...it's probably gonna happen sometime or another.
Please excuse my topless hubby. Sorry, Jon! He has been an amazing help. The night that I took this pic he made that sushi he is eating so I didn't have to cook AND he held Kendra while eating it. My only complaint? Notice he's sitting on my couch eating that sushi. WITH SOY SAUCE! Grrrr.

Things have been going as well as they could be I guess. Still not getting much sleep. On a normal night Kendra wakes up every 3 hours ON THE DOT to eat and then goes right back to sleep. But one or two nights a week she will keep me up for 2-3 hours straight and I can't get her to sleep no matter what. Last night was one of those nights. I fed her at 2:45am and when I put her back in bed she got the hiccups. So I picked her back up (which I have to do or she gets ticked and cries and then can't settle down) and she spit up on my chest - eww. So I clean it up, calm her down, and put her back in bed and she immediately starts filling her diaper. So I pick her back up, change her diaper, and try to rock her back to sleep but I am unsuccessful. When it gets to that point I just want to cry...and sometimes I do a little. I've been so exhausted. Once Ryder gets up for the day that's it for me. No more sleep. Even when he goes down for a nap...Kendra is usually waking up from hers or she just wants to be awake and held. I know this is only temporary and one day I'll be able to sleep more and maybe nap once in a while. I'm just trying my best to get through this difficult beginning stage.

Kiddos

I stole this pic from Melissa's blog :) As I've said before we had the same due date...then her c-section was scheduled a week early, then Kendra came 9 days early making her only 3 days older than Reed. Aren't they cute? You too, Ryder. Kendra was hungry so we had to shove a pacifier in her mouth to make her happy for pictures. HA! I'm happy we have kids so close together. It will be more fun when they are older of course. Poor Ryder doesn't have anyone to play with. He'll have to be friends with the adults. HAHA! Just kidding.

Baby's first broken bone

I took Kendra to the Dr. this morning for her 2 week well check, but she's actually almost 3 weeks...in 2 more days. Anyways, here are her stats:

Height: 21.5 in (90%)

Weight: 9lbs 2oz (75%)

Head: 35.5cm (50%)

As the Dr. was checking her over, he casually said, "Did you know her collar bone is broken?" I was so shocked, I just said "NO!!!" When she got checked in the hospital the Dr. didn't notice and at her first check up 2 weeks ago he didn't notice but he seems to think it happened at birth. She has a huge knot on her shoulder where there is bone healing the break. I never caught that. He said by her next check-up it should be smoothed out. I sure hope so. My poor baby! Other than that she is doing great!

Introducing....

Kendra McCall Stowell
Born: June 5, 2010 @ 5:34pm
8lbs 14oz and 21.1 inches

I am so totally IN LOVE with this little girl. She is perfect - eats well, sleeps well, hardly ever cries. Kendra is such a blessing and is COMPLETELY worth all the pain I went through...and there was a lot of pain. Here's the story and I'll try to make it short.

Jon and I had our "last date before baby" on Friday and it was kind of a joke because I could barely walk. I was having major pain in my pubic bone area and didn't know how I was going to last until the 14th (the due date). So we had our date, came home, and went to bed pretty late around 11:30. I woke up at 1am to my water leaking all over the place (sorry TMI). I told Jon my water broke and he wanted me to try and go back to sleep since I wasn't having contractions and the same thing happened with Ryder and it took him forever to be born. I couldn't. Hello...I was leaking and getting excited and anxious there was no way I was going to sleep. I told him I would just drive to the hospital and call him if anything big was happening. Well I got to the hospital at 1:30 and they had a hard time testing the water to make sure it was amniotic fluid. It took them 5 tries and TA DA it was fluid (I knew it). So they admitted me and I got my IV started. I decided to leave Jon alone and he called me at 6:30am and I told him nothing was happening yet. They started me on pitocin around 7:30 and after a few hours my cervix hadn't dilated at all. The contractions became more painful so they gave me the epidural (which is a godsend) and everything pretty much remained the same. Since I was running on about 1 hour of sleep I became very frustrated and emotional that it was taking so long. I cried on and off for a few hours until FINALLY they told me I was at an 8. YES!! Once I reached a 10 I pushed for about 30-45 minutes, which was exhausting, and then Kendra arrived. She had chubby cheeks and a double chin and just looked so BIG! And she was. She has my nose and Jon's chin...everything else is too hard to tell this early.

Postpartum had been pretty rough this time around. The cramps that you get when your uterus shrinks were excruciating and I'm so glad that part is over. They were so bad in the hospital that I couldn't sleep and asked the nurse for drugs. She gave me 2 percocet within an hour and that didn't even touch the pain. I called my nurse and she gave me a hot towel because I couldn't have any other drugs. That didn't work. Then she came in with a hot pad. That didn't work. The weird part is I wasn't even feeding the baby and I was having constant cramping. The nurse decided that was not normal and I should not be in so much pain so she called my Dr. who approved Demerol. Thank goodness! As soon as the nurse put it through my IV I passed out...only to be woken up an hour later when they brought Kendra back from the nursery to eat. The drugs made me so loopy I was falling asleep while I fed her. So when I entered the hospital I had had only 1 hour of sleep, that first night with Kendra I only had 1 hour of sleep, then the next 2 nights at home I had only 1 hour of sleep. Let me tell you I've been exhausted beyond belief I don't even know how I have functioned. I'm finally getting more sleep now but Ryder has been waking up in the night and trying to come in my bed and then he won't go back to sleep in his own bed so I've been up with 2 kids in the night and it is NOT fun. Other than that I have no complaints. Life is good and we are so blessed. We love you, Kendra!

36 Weeks!

WOW this shirt makes me look huge. I meant to take a 35 week picture but forgot so here I am at 36 weeks and 2 days.
Ryder always insists on having his picture taken too when the camera is out.
AND he always wants to take a picture of me. Nice skills, Bubba!
Check out the toys on the couch behind him all perfectly lined up. He is obsessed with trains and always wants to line his toys up like a train.
Poser.

More Ryder-isms

I swear every week Ryder says or does something new. He is changing so much so fast! I just posted a while back about things he says and just since then he has been saying so much more and I HAVE to document it because it is hilarious and cute.

Everytime I ask him to do something now he will say, "Alright! Alright! Fine!" Even though it's kind of an attitude it makes me laugh.

Last week I was trying to get him dressed to go out and he was NOT cooperating. Well Jon was home to see what I have to go through on a daily basis trying to get Ryder out the door so he grabbed Ryder's hand, walked him over to me, and gave him a really light kick to the butt. Ryder half-giggled, half scolded, "Dosh... a MEAN!" (which if you couldn't figure it out means, "Gosh... you're mean!") I was like, "Did you hear what he just said?" Jon just answered, "Yes. If he was 5 I would be all over him for that but he's only 2 and it just sounds so cute." We both laughed.

Every night at bedtime Ryder wants one of us to sing him a song before leaving his room. Well, the only song Jon really knows to sing is Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Just yesterday I heard Ryder sing, "Twinkle, twinkle, little star... how I wonder what you are." That's all he knows but it was SO CUTE to hear him sing an actual song! He can also sing, "Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work we go."

There is a book of rhymes that I read to Ryder sometimes and this is his favorite one:
Once I saw a little bird hop, hop, hop
And I cried, "Oh little bird. Stop! Stop! Stop!"
I was going to the window just to say, "How do you do?"
But he shook his little tail and away he flew.
It has actions to go with it and he can say most of the rhyme and do the actions. It's the cutest.

He calls himself Ry Ry, which is his nickname given to him by his Aunt Sonia.

Once in a while he calls me Larkie, which is my nickname.

Sometimes he calls Jon.... Jon. HAHA! It is not right, but very funny. Jon doesn't like it though. He wants to be called daddy.

He loves to say, "Shake your booty!" in this really weird yoda voice and shake his hips.

When Ryder comes to the Dr. with me for my prenatal check-ups, he just sits and observes everything so quietly. The nurse will have me lay down and listen to the baby's heartbeat and when she leaves, Ryder wants to get up on the table and lift up his shirt and have ME find a heartbeat in HIS belly. He says there is a baby in there. HAHA!

When we are at the Stowells' house and it's time to go home, Ryder FREAKS! He will run back into one of the bedrooms, jump on the bed, and lay down and close his eyes. It cracks us up every time. He also loves to pull this little stool over to the desk where Barb keeps candy and when nobody is looking he will steal some.

The other night Barb introduced Ryder to Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang. Ryder LOVES old musical type movies. He would rather watch real people than cartoons and he loves music. Well there is a scene where people are dancing around with poles. Barb gave Ryder a lacrosse stick without the head so he had his own little pole. He was copying all the dance moves and we were almost peeing our pants. He even did a somersault while holding the stick. I was impressed.

He is still obsessed with motorcycles, trains, bikes, pretty much anything with wheels. Jon loves that about him. We have decided that Ryder likes motorcycles more than Jon, which we never thought possible.

Ryder is our pride and joy and so much fun. I can't wait to see what kind of personality Kendra has.

Mother's Day/My 25th Birthday

My birthday was on Mother's Day this year. I got to spend the whole day with my 2 favorite people...or should I say 3??? Can't exclude Kendra, she's almost here! After church and naps we went to the Stowells' and I got presents, dinner, and key lime pie (my fav).
Barb forgot candles so I blew out a lighter. It was pretty funny. Ryder actually sang Happy Birthday to me. It was really cute.
Check out that yummy pie! I'm not much of a cake person so I made a request for my fav dessert. After the Stowells' we went to my parents' house and my mom had also gotten me key lime pie. I got to take some home to enjoy throughout my week :)
Aaaaaand just because he is cute :) Here is Ryder playing with Jesse's remote control rock crawler. Jesse left for his mission this last week so Ryder is taking care of all his toys for him.

One of my presents was a pedicure set and though I didn't get a picture of it, Jon gave me a nice pedi when we got home. He even took off my old nail polish and re-painted my toes hot pink. He did a good job too! Haha! It was a good day.

My Baby Shower

Here I am. Almost 33 weeks in this picture. My sister, Sonia, hosted my baby shower at her house this past weekend and it was a success!!! Thanks to everyone who came!
Barb and Jenn, my in-laws
And here's my pregnant twin, Melissa :) We HAD the same due date but now she's having her baby a week sooner than me. Lucky girl. My pose is weird here...almost like a beached whale.
Mis amigos...Mackenzie, Allie, Jessica, Melissa, then Justine, Kara, and Kelli in the back. We didn't get any pictures of the other guests like my aunts and other cousins. Oops!

Kara's cute little baby Peyton.
Just a few of the cute baby clothes I have for baby Kendra.
All the yummy food. I ate way too much of it.
The cutest and tastiest cupcakes. They are the "sprinkles" strawberry recipe. Delish!
