We are expecting baby #3!!! We are pretty excited. We went to Disneyland over the weekend and the morning before we went to the park, I decided I should probably take a pregnancy test since we had been trying to get pregnant. I wanted to know if I could go on any ride I wanted or not. So I took the test without telling anyone and it was positive!! I wanted to scream to myself in the bathroom. We went to the pool shortly after and I couldn't contain it anymore. I told Jen. She is due in August so she was super excited her baby would have a cousin close in age. So we pack up and head to Disneyland and Justin decides to hang with us and the kids for a while. We get away from Jon for a minute and I decide to tell Justin. He couldn't believe it! I told him that I wanted to tell Jon in a fun way but I didn't know how. I was holding the pregnancy test in my back pocket and I kept getting scared Jon would find it somehow. Anyways, we went to this huge building at Disneyland called Innovention. It just has cool stuff to look at. There was this little booth where you could take a picture of your face and then the computer would show you what you would look like older, fatter, as a smoker, etc. Jon decided to do it and there was my big chance!! As he was getting his picture taken, I held the pregnancy test right up next to his head. When it showed his pic to him, he just said, "I don't like that pic I'm gonna take a new one." HE DIDN'T EVEN SEE THE TEST PLAIN AS DAY RIGHT NEXT TO HIS HEAD!!! So he took another picture. SAME THING! He didn't like it, wanted to take a new one, and never saw the test in the picture. I gave up by the third time and he was starting to get mad that Justin and I were laughing and not telling him why. I ended up pulling out the test and handing it to him. He just stared at it for a second like he didn't know what it was. It was pretty funny. He was happy. He's been wanting another baby for a while now. So there you have it! Baby #3 is coming the end of October! I dont want to find out the gender this time around, but Jon does. He can't wait. As for the name, we know what we want for a boy OR girl, but won't be sharing until D-Day. Sorry folks!

Ryder turned 4!!

I love this guy. He made me a mom! He stole my heart first and he'll always be my baby. He is my snuggle buddy and love bug. He's very affectionate and I love it! He turned 4 on February 6th. I still can't believe it. We had fun celebrating his birthday with Jon's family. We went shooting and quad riding followed by Chuck E. Cheese's for dinner. Ryder is THE BEST big brother. He always watches out for Kendra and loves to help me take care of her. They fight a lot but I know they love each other because when Ryder goes to preschool, they miss each other. Ryder is going to start his second year of preschool in the fall and go 3 days a week. He is getting so smart! I love to watch him learn and grow. He says the funniest things...he always has. Sometimes he talks like a grown-up and it cracks us up. He loves to sing. He sings himself to sleep every night. He always sings along to the radio in the car and he just started trying to sing hymns with us in church. He just moved up to sunbeams in Primary last month and it's amazing how many songs he already knows. I keep telling Jon he's going to be our little choir boy. He also likes to dance...to any music. Funny story...yesterday we went to Walgreen's to get stuff for Valentine's and there was music playing in the store. He started lip syncing and dancing like he was on broadway or something. It was HILARIOUS!! I busted up laughing. Ryder loves his friends and makes friends easily. He quickly made friends on our street with a bunch of kids that are WAY older (I'm talking like 10 years old) but they love to play with Ryder. They think he's pretty cool. Ryder learned to ride his bike without training wheels a few months ago and he caught on so quickly. It was so easy for him. He is also playing soccer and I'm not just saying it...he's the best on the team. He totally gets what is going on and is the only player to ever score a goal. Jon got him a basketball hoop for his birthday and he has been practicing everyday. He is already so good at it. He's just so athletic and agile it's amazing. He's going to be one of those kids that is just good at every sport without really trying. It's a gift! I'm excited to see what this new year of his life brings. WE LOVE YOU RYDER BUG!!
