This lil' man likes to wrestle. He is such a boy; rough and rowdy.
I like to snuggle. He does not. Sorry you have to see me without makeup.
I love my days off work so I can play with my babe. He is so much fun.
When we wrestle it's pretty much me kissing him to death and him trying to stop me.
I can't help but kiss his soft squishy cheeks. They are just so kissable!
Oh! He got me. My face is so goofy in this picture. He is actually trying to bite my cheek right here. I let him try until he actually DID bite me and then wrestle time was over. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
Ryder continues to amaze me with the new things he learns. He gets to spend 3 days a week with his two cousins while I'm at work and they have taught him to crawl backwards down my mom's stairs. This morning he showed me on OUR stairs that he could do it. Now I'm not as worried about him falling down the stairs (again) because he can crawl up and down no problem. He is starting to walk more and more. I think spending time with his cousins and seeing them walk and run around really motivates him. This morning I was cleaning his bedroom and he was in the bathroom next door. I called his name and then heard him coming around the corner to his room. I was expecting to see him crawling but he just came walking around the corner!! It was so cool and weird and funny and cute all at the same time. I just love him.

More Christmas Pictures
Here is my whole family. 5 kids, 4 spouses, and 10 grandkids with 2 more on the way. Keira is pregnant with her 3rd and is due in July. Kristin is pregnant with her 4th and due in August.
Sherman must've been teasing me because I'm pinching his nipple in this picture. I don't remember why though. Weird.
As I said in a previous post we went to my parents' cabin in Heber. This is a nice little slope just a few miles away where we went sledding. Pictured is me, Dan, Simon (visitor from Utah), Keira, Eli, Kale, and Jon. My mom took the picture. She also went sledding down the hill and I wish we had it on tape because it was AWESOME. She got going so fast and tried to stop herself but just kept spinning and then Dan had to catch her at the bottom before she smacked into his car. HAHA! There was a dude standing a few feet away just laughing at her. It was hilarious.
Here is me, Ryder, and Kristin's husband Bert. Ryder is all bundled up and ready to go sledding. We didn't have any gloves for him so when we took him sledding he kept sticking his hands in the snow and liked it until it started to burn and then he'd start crying. Poor lil' guy. We definitely need to get him some snow clothes.

Late Christmas Post and 11 Months!!
Here are pictures from Christmas. Yes, there are only 2. My stupid camera was dying when we got to Jon's parents' Christmas morning. We had a good Christmas though. Ryder got some toys and clothes. Jon got clothes and I got a LOT of clothes. I was SO EXCITED! My grand total in gift cards to Forever 21 was $200!!! I didn't get it all at once and one of them was supposed to be Jon's but he gave it to me because he is sweet and knows how much I love shopping there. Jon and I weren't supposed to exchange gifts really but then he surprised me with my own gift card on top of giving me his so I scored on the clothes. Can I just tell you how awesome it is to go in there and just grab everything you like without having to look at the price or sit there on your phone and calculate how much you're about to spend? It is a great feeling that I never got to experience until now. We got to talk to Jon's brother Jake who is on his mission in Canada via webcam which was very cool. Then we drove up to my parents' cabin in Heber to spend time with them and some of my siblings. it was fun but i really wish Ryder would walk. The floor was kinda cold so he constantly had cold hands and feet. He has been trying on and off for weeks but still can't really walk. Some days he does well and tries really hard and then he'll stop trying completely. Hopefully he'll be walking by his first birthday which is almost here on February 6th!!! I'm so excited. I've been looking forward to it! Anyways, nothing else is really new. Ryder finally got over his vomit and diarrhea but it lasted a whole week. I'm still giving him soy formula because he can keep it down and i'm afraid to start him back on the whole milk just yet. That's the sickest he's ever been and I hope it is a LONG time before he gets real sick again.
So Ryder turned 11 months on January 6th. Still no walking, 6 teeth, but I think more are coming because he's been up in the night again. He's developing more personality. If he's around a group of us and we are all laughing he will totally fake laugh like he's in on the conversation. It is hilarious. He also does a fake smile where he wrinkles his nose and shows all his teeth. He is starting to wave now. He doesn't really move his hand much but if you wave to him he will just raise his hand in the air and that's his wave. Let's see what else...He likes to turn pages when we read books but i never get to finish reading a whole page because he's impatient - like his mom :) He will still go to anyone, even strangers (yikes) and he is very loving to everyone. That's about all for this month. My next post on Ryder will be his 1st birthday!!! YAY!!

Sicky Sick Sick
Sorry for the lack of posting. We are overwhelmed with sickness. I'm talking stomach flu sickness and it is SICK!!! Well, I'm not sick...yet. But Ryder has had vomiting/diarrhea for 2 days and now Jon woke up at 4:30am with the same except he is violently ill. I'm talking screaming into the toilet with the heaves type ill. Way worse than Ryder's flu. I'm just sitting here taking care of them waiting to catch it and also hoping I'm somehow immune. I don't want to be in the state that they are in. My brother WiL is also on his death bed. Is everyone and their dog sick right now? Is this going around? I don't even know how Ryder caught it. He's not in daycare and I don't take him outside for TOO long...Hmmmm.... Anyways, Happy New Year everyone! Christmas pictures are coming soon. Gotta charge my camera up.
