Choo Choo
Ryder (aka "Choo Choo") is going to be 2 months old this week! He is growing up so fast. He smiles now when we smile and talk to him. He even started cooing at Jon this past weekend. It was so cute! It's like they were just having a little conversation. Ryder is just getting more and more fun these days. I can't wait to see what he does next! Here are some recent pictures we took of him. My favorite is the blue striped onesie outfit with the blue beanie. He just looks too cute.

Dan in Real Life

This is currently my favorite movie! I just watched it with my mom the other day and I already want to watch it again. Such a cute, sad, funny movie all in one. I know, who wants to watch a sad movie, right? But really...it has a happy ending. LOVE IT! If you haven't seen it yet, watch it!

Sick of all the pee!
So Ryder pretty much pees through his diapers and outfits at least once a day. Either I have really crappy diapers, or I just don't know how to put a diaper on a baby. If it's the diapers, I don't care I'm still using them cuz they were free. It's cheaper to do a lot of laundry than go buy different diapers. Anyways, he pees EVERY TIME we give him a bath. It's crazy! Then the water is all contaminated. When Jon gave him a bath for his blessing on Sunday, he peed right in his own face! He kept turning his head side to side trying to breathe cuz he was practically drowning in it! Instead of blocking the flow, Jon just laughed. Not funny. But I would rather he pee in the tub than through his clothes. This is why the situation frustrates me so much. Today, for example, I gave him a bath, put really good smelling lotion all over him, and dressed him in a cute outfit to go to the doctor. When it was time to weigh him they made me take off everything including his diaper! WHY!? What does a diaper weigh anyways? Like it's that much of a difference without it on. They could just subtract the weight of the diaper from his weight. So what happens when I take off his diaper? He starts crying because he is cold and then he pisses EVERYWHERE! And this time he peed on his face again. Poor thing was just balling his eyes out. He had pee all over his hair and in his ear and all over his body, not to mention the scale was drenched. So I took him back home and gave him yet ANOTHER bath, which he peed in...as usual. Really now, when is this gonna stop? Somebody please give me answers because I don't know how much more I can take. Last night, he peed his outfit TWICE in the middle of the night. I was so tired I just wiped him down with wet wipes. There was no way I was gonna run a bath at 3am. Oh and P.S. he now weighs 11 lbs 3 oz. HUGE!

Ryder's blessing day!
Here are the pictures from Ryder's blessing on Sunday. He was blessed by his daddy with Grandpa Poulsen, Grandpa Stowell, Great Grandpa Bear, Great Grandpa Stowell, Uncle Dan, Uncle Sherman, and Uncle Jake in the circle. It was a great day full of friends, family, and food.

Baby's first haircut
We cut Ryder's hair a week ago and pretty much everyone has seen it but I just thought these pictures were so cute. I can't believe how much hair was in the sink! He was blessed on Sunday and I didn't want him looking like an old man so I decided to buzz it off. My dad thought I was crazy and I thought Jon would feel the same but he was all for it. He is pretty young for a haircut already but...doesn't he look so much better? He was so good the whole time, he didn't even cry once. He just made funny faces when the buzzer would get close to his ears but I think he liked the vibrations on his head.
