cheese balls

I know this is totally cheesy but I wanted to post WHY I love Christmas so much. So here are my reasons.

1. I love Christmas lights on houses. It's just so fun. I haven't been able to get Jon to put them on OUR house the past two years but he promised that he would start when we have kids. So he's out of luck next year. I love to get hot chocolate and go driving in the car to look at lights. I love the temple lights too.

2. I love Christmas trees. They just make me happy. I didn't ALWAYS like the way my mom decorated them but the past several years have looked good. It just makes the house feel cozy and smell good, which leads me to my next reason....

3. I love the smells. The smell of a REAL Christmas tree and cookies baking in the oven and gingerbread and scented candles.

4. I love the time off work and time with family. I hate my job because it has made me despise old people and I think that's very sad. So I love having PAID time off to hang out with my family and we have fun together so it's great.

5. I love giving presents. Especially when the people you give them to never expected you were going to give them anything. I also love getting presents but honestly, I am a pretty lucky girl and I get so many things during the year that when Christmas comes I can't think of anything I want. I'm spoiled like that. Product of being the baby in my family.

6. I love the Savior. Without him we wouldn't have life...OR this awesome holiday. He should have been at the top of my list but I believe in saving the best for last.
