Ahh communication...something our little family lacks sometimes :) But lately, Ryder is getting better and better at communicating his wants and needs to me and I LOVE IT! I was beginning to grow tired of the guessing game - even though eventually I always figured it out.
Side note: This is just some random picture I took a while back and yes, he has a black eye that he got at In N' Out.
Ryder can do sign language for "eat" and "more" which is all he really needs since all he does is EAT! He likes to go to the fridge, pull out his sippy cup, and grab the bottle of Hershey's chocolate syrup for chocolate milk and he brings it all to me. Sometimes I'll be upstairs and he'll make the trek up there to give me the bottle of Hershey's. It cracks me up. For the first time ever yesterday he pooped and then came over to me, got my attention, and grabbed his diaper to let me know he needed a change. I was so proud! Maybe potty training isn't so far off after all?! One of Ryder's first words was "mama" but then he stopped. For a LONG time. Then randomly a few weeks ago he started calling me "mom" and now all day long to get my attention it's, "MOM!! MOM!!" So funny. I'm just glad he's acknowledging me again. He has become such a copycat too. He'll copy anything you say if you tell him to. A new word he learned this past week is "juice" or "joo." I'm so thankful that he is learning to communicate and be polite (he'll say please and thank you) and tell me what he needs. I take for granted too often that I have a healthy, happy boy that is growing up perfectly!

How cute! I can't wait to hear Peyton say "mom" :) We do need to get together! She is so big compared to when you saw her in the hospital-I hate that they grow too fast!
I was going to actually write you an email the other day to talk to you about this and some things but I never saved the draft and lost it and didn't feel like writing it all again. :o\ But I just about went insane today so i wrote it on the blog while he was crying... I am glad to know it's a stage. I figured that but its just getting worse and worse and I can't handle much more. But I did take him to the doctor. I see Dr. Jones at gilbert ped. I thought I liked him but im not sure bout him the last few time he has made ryker cry just by looking in his ear no one else ever makes him cry. I've seen Carrol a few times too. But Ryker checked out fine. He says its a stage didn't really give me any tips other than nip it in the butt now.. let him cry, he might be teething give him Tylenol (I hate when they say this) Ryker is definitely testing me and wanting everything he can't have and wants his way (already its starting? this is not fair I need another year) He will all the sudden just cry in his high chair like he is in pain but he is fine just wants out to eat and wants attention. Curious... what time do you put ryder down for bed? I wish ryker could sleep even until 7...he was just a week ago for only a few day when he was sick but now its back to 6 or 630... shoot me! thanks for always always chekin my blog and commenting... it's so great to know these things you know or have been through!
